YOUR LIBRARY CARD
Your Minuteman library card proves you with borrowing privileges at 35 public libraries and access to the collections of seven academic libraries located to the west of Boston.
Fines and Fees
• Senior citizen discount (Wellesley Residents only) -- .10 per day for materials that normally have a .20 per day fine, no senior discount on other fines.
• Overdue fines are not charged for Sundays and days the library is closed.
• Your account will be frozen if there is more than $5.00 in fines, 10 or more items overdue or 1 item at the billed stage.
• Fines may be paid at any Minuteman Library or online.
Renewing Items
• Eligible items may be renewed twice, as long as no holds have been placed by other patrons.
• You may renew your items in person, online or by calling 781-235-1610.
Requested items (Holds)
• Requested items are held for 5 days on the hold shelf.
• Patrons are notified of holds via email or SMS text message.
• Your account will be frozen if there is more than $5.00 in fines, 10 or more items overdue or 1 item at the billed stage.
• Fines may be paid at any Minuteman Library or online.

Book Drops
There is a book drop on the parking lot side of the Main Library and at both of the branches.
Self-Check
If you are tired of waiting in line, try our self checkout machines. At the Main Library, they are located at the Circulation Desk, in the Main Lobby, and in the Children’s Department. There is also a checkout machine at the Hills Branch. Easy to use, just follow the prompts on the screen or ask a staff member for assistance.
• Restrictions: Items on hold must be checked out by staff.
