General Business File ASAP
Use this database to research all business and management topics. Includes directory listings for over 150,000 companies as well as investment analysts' reports on major companies and industries. Choose "advanced search" and them type a ticker symbol into the pop-up box to search Reuters Research on Demand, which contains investment reports produced by financial institutions and Wall Street and International brokerage firms.
Hoover's Online
Hoover's Online contains a wide variety of business information about public, private and non-US companies. It includes extensive company profiles, information about competitors and names of key people with accompanying biographies. Also available is company and industry news, IPO information, research reports and annual reports. Company searches can be targeted using 18 parameters such as industry, geographic location, financial information, and company size.
Morningstar.com Library Edition
Morningstar provides fast and easy access to mutual fund, stock, and ETF ratings and information, online and in a downloadable PDF format. Search for financial instruments either by name or ticker symbol, or use the screeners to search for investments that meet your specifications. You can also upload your financial portfolio which Morningstar will provide an analysis of.

Standard & Poor's NetAdvantage
S&P's NetAdvantage includes industry surveys, stock and bond reports, company profiles and articles. It also provides access to the Standard & Poor's Mutual Fund Reports, Stock Reports, and Industry Reports. Remote access (as opposed to accessing on a library computer) does not provide access to the Industry Reports due to a contractual agreement with S&P.

PowerSearch
Gale PowerSearch helps users select the databases most appropriate to include in a cross-search by providing an alphabetical listing along with a description of each one.
