 COLLECTION DEVELOPMENT
Librarians select books and other materials based on published reviews, popular demand, and professional experience. We also welcome your suggestions and donations.

 READERS' ADVISORY
The Reference Department has many print brochures, a Staff Reads Blog, and online sources such as Novelist to help direct you towards your next favorite book.
 ONLINE CATALOG & DATABASES
The Reference staff can help you find materials, place reserves on books or other materials, and show you how to search the catalog. Visit www.mln.lib.ma.us to access our online catalog and electronic resources. Many databases are available from your home or office.
  VIRTUAL CATALOG
The Virtual Catalog allows you to search through library catalogs outside of the Minuteman Network and to request items from other libraries.
  INTER-LIBRARY LOAN (ILL)
Requests for periodicals or other materials that we do not own may be available through Inter-library Loan. Requests for these may be made through the Reference Department. 
  LocaL History
The Local History Collection includes Town Reports from 1880, Resident Lists, Wellesley High School Yearbooks, Town Meeting videos and DVDs, Townsman microfilm, and more. 
 BOOK DISCUSSION GROUPS
The library holds monthly book discussion groups. For more information please call, visit the Reference Department, or check the Library Events calendar on our website.
  QUIET STUDY ROOMS
Requests for the use of quiet study rooms may be made at the Reference Desk in person or by calling 781-235-1610 x1117.
  COMPUTER ACCESS
High speed Internet access and Microsoft Office are available on public computers. Printing costs 15¢ per page for black & white and 50¢ for color. We also have a wireless network connection and live ports for your laptops. 
  COMPUTER CLASSES
Visit the Reference Desk or our website calendar for a current class schedule. We teach many classes from basic mouse skills to Advanced Excel to using RSS Feeds and more.
  SCANNERS
Flatbed scanners are available for public use. Documents may be saved as a .pdf and printed in color or b&w or scanned to a file
  PRINTERS
Print documents or from the Internet in black & white or color with two laser printers.
  PHOTOCOPIER
Black & White photocopier with letter and legal sized options. 
  MICROFILM READERS
Wellesley offers two microfilm readers that allow images to be printed, saved to a flash drive, or e-mailed.
