A Message from the Library Director
Hello and Welcome to the Wellesley Free Library Website.
The Wellesley Free Library is made up of several components. This website is our “virtual branch” of the library. You can find out about programs, exhibits, reserve museum passes, view our room rentals, renew and reserve materials through our website. You can also find information on databases, view policies and much, much more by “surfing” our site.
This website is just the beginning of all that we have to offer in our three buildings. The Main Library, located at 530 Washington Street, is our central hub. Here you can surf the Internet, use electronic resources, check out material, find a quiet place to read or study, ask a reference question, attend a program, and view an art exhibit.
We also have two branch libraries, the Hills Branch located at 210 Washington Street and the Fells Branch located at 308 Weston Road. Both branch locations provide access to new and popular materials in several formats, offer programs of interest for children and adults, and offer computer access and wifi.
In 2013 we will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of the opening on the Main Library. The celebration will take place on June 1, 2013 exactly 10 years from our opening on a rainy but wonderful Sunday.
