Welcome to the Children's Department of the Wellesley Free Library
Our Collection Includes:
- Books for pleasure or study,
- Homework resources in print and online,
- Non-Print materials including CDs, videos, DVDs and audio books.
We have something for every child from birth to age 99!
We offer story-time and book sharing PROGRAMS for children beginning with babies and continuing through preschool, elementary and middle school students. Programs are held in the Children's Room at the Main Library. Check the Events Calendar for details.

A monthly hands-on books & activity programs for children in grades 1 - 3. |
| The Reading Club |
For children in grades 4 & 5 with an adult. Read the books and join the discussion. Books are available at the Children's Desk. |
| Monthly Sing-along |
Music, flannel stories & more for children ages 2½ and up. |
| Weekly Storytime Programs |
BookBabies for little ones 3 - 30 months; ToddlerTime for children ages 2½ - 4; and Story Circle for children ages 4 - 6. Siblings welcome. |
| Movies |
Monthly, on the big screen! Always G or PG rated. |
| Drop in Crafts |
For children of all ages. Scheduled on an occasional basis. Check Calandar. |
| Middle School Gatherings |
Scheduled on occasional Saturdays and early release days. Check Calendar. Program may include pizza, crafts or other activities. |
| Annual Winter Family Fest |
One Friday night in early December, the library stays open for families with kids of all ages to enjoy entertainment, balloons, crafts, and refreshments. |
