Find a Book The Reference Department of the Wellesley Free Library.

The Reference Department is composed of 3 full-time and 5 part-time professional librarians who work with a substantial reference collection consisting of more than 20 electronic databases, 350 magazines subscriptions and 175,000 circulating titles to find the answers to your questions.  The enormous fund of materials on the Internet is also used to find accurate answers as promptly as possible.  We can help you to locate the Boston Globe article you recall reading, choose titles for your next discussion group, or find topics for your next school project.  Many Wellesley materials (including high school yearbooks) are available to read in the library.

More than 30 computers are located near the Reference Desk on the second floor, providing Internet access, the Minuteman Library Network Catalog, Microsoft Office and printers.  They are available for at least 1 hour per day.  Wireless Internet access is available throughout the building, a FAX machine is available on the second floor.  Classes on using computers are offered monthly.

In 2006 we will add downloadable audio books to our current collection of DVD, videos, audio books and music on CD

The Reference Desk is located on the second floor of the Main Library -- please come, call, e-mail or fax us with your comments or questions.
