While the Library is Closed: A Message from the Director

Dear Patrons,

The Coronavirus pandemic continues to evolve. We are excited to have begun our phased reopening plan that prioritizes the safety and well-being of staff and patrons. Our goal is to bring back the things you love while ensuring the health of our community. We are taking a careful and measured approach in order to meet stringent new health, safety and hygiene procedures.

June 1
The book drop at the Main Library is open for returns of library materials.
All items currently have a due date of July 31, so there is no rush to return them.

Phone reference and library information is available at the Main Library. Call 781-235-1610 to speak with a staff person.
Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Saturday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

June 15
Contact-free curbside pick-up offered at the Main Library. 

Place holds on library items through the online catalog to take advantage of curbside service as soon as it is available.

The Friends of the WFL are developing plans too! Please hold on to your book donations for now.

We appreciate your enthusiasm for books and the library, and look forward to seeing you when we do reopen.
