Message from the Director
The Coronavirus continues to evolve rapidly. As always, we remain committed to serving our residents and the larger community.
The closure of the Wellesley Public Schools provides the Wellesley Free Library an opportunity to help mitigate the risk of spread of infection.
By aligning with this closure and others in the community, we can do our part to reduce local and regional transmission. The health and safety of the public, our volunteers and staff are our top priority.
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, all Wellesley Free Libraries are closed until May 4.
Fines are suspended, and due dates are extended to June 30. The book drops are closed, so please hold on to your materials.
- You can reach a librarian Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm through our website contact form.
- The Virtual Branch (all website resources including e-books, databases, streaming, etc) is available 24/7
We apologize for the temporary disruption and hope this short-term closure will result in long-term health for our patrons and community.
This is a fast moving and ever-changing situation so we will continue to keep our webpage up to date and encourage everyone to sign up for the Town of Wellesley News and Announcements for the latest updates.
Please stay healthy and remember to wash your hands.
Wellesley Free Library Director
