Wellesley Reads Together 2018
Each year, Wellesley Free Library partners with MassBay Community College for a community reading program built around the winner of the annual Massachusetts Bay OneBook Prize.
The choice for 2018 is a new edition of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein that pairs the original 1818 version with annotations and essays exploring the social and ethical aspects of scientific creativity raised by this remarkable story. The result is a unique and accessible edition that honors the 200th anniversary of one of the most thought-provoking and influential novels ever written.
