Janis Luecke

Wellesley High School Author: Janis Luecke (1972)

        Janis is primarily known for her art work, but her recent children’s book, The Hearts That Fell Out of the Sky, has charmed many readers. This story about the Heart Heads, who venture down to earth from outer space on a special mission, teaches children a valuable lesson about living in our hearts. Janis’s paintings and prints were featured at the WHS Artists room during Turn Out the Lights.
