How To Volunteer


Are you looking for a way to support the ongoing mission of the Wellesley Free Library?  Volunteering your time and skill is an excellent way to show your support and make a meaningful difference by enhancing the Library’s programs and services.

The Library is currently looking for energetic volunteers to help in a range of on-site and strategic roles.   So if you have a passion for your community and for learning, consider putting your talents to use here.

    Library Volunteers are generally required to commit to a minimum of 12 weeks.
  • Please note that we cannot accommodate court-ordered community service.
  • Volunteers are everywhere

    Tell us in which areas you are interested in volunteering. Please note that some positions may require lifting heavy books, bending and stretching to shelve items, and pushing filled book carts.
