The 75th Anniversary of the Attack on Pearl Harbor

Posted on December 7, 2016

On December 7th, 1941 – 75 years ago this year – our nation was wracked by tragedy in the Pacific. After almost 2,500 casualties, the surprise attack on U.S. soil led to America’s image12 participation in World War II.

Visit our second floor display for materials exploring the attack, how and why it happened, and its historical significance. While 75 years may be a long time, the attack on Pearl Harbor is an event that we may not recall in memory, but will never forget.
