At the Library

December 5-11 is Computer Science Education Week!

Posted on December 2, 2016

The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), a division of the American Library Association, is hosting Computer Science Education week from December 5th through December 11th!

The goal is to encourage everyone to learn to code, no matter whooooo you are!

At the Wellesley Free Library, learn to program our NAO robots, Lava and Sky, using Choregraphe, an easy to learn drop-and-drag programming application. As our hi-tech ambassadors to STEM education, Lava and Sky bring digital literacy to life by encouraging curiosity and a passion for figuring out how, why, and what if.

Sign up for an Introduction to Choregraphe class at https://www.wellesleyfreelibrary.org/.
