The privately funded Fells Branch recently received two community grants that will assist the Board of Library Trustees and the WFL Foundation in this effort. Sincere thanks to the Fund for Wellesley for its $8,245 award. The Fund for Wellesley, an Endowed Fund of the Foundation for MetroWest, serves as a permanent source of funding to foster innovation and collaboration in support of community needs and opportunities. The mission of the Fund for Wellesley is to promote the common good and to benefit all residents of the town. For more information, visit thefundforwellesley.org.
Thanks also to the Wellesley Hills Junior Women’s Club, which granted a $400 award toward the Fells Branch renovation project. The Fells Branch temporarily closed for these renovations on July 2, and will re-open in the late fall of 2018.
