Food for Thought

Posted on January 19, 2017

A little known sub-genre of cookbooks is the food memoir: the personal experience of a chef (amateur or professional) relative to food. Many food foodmemoirsmemoirs include recipes, as the author will relate his/her experiences with certain dishes while relaying how you can make them at home.

Take a peek at our second floor display featuring the best food memoirs in our collection. If you love to cook, not only because of the food but also because of your sensory experiences, food memoirs may be just the right thing!
