October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Every year, October reminds us about how important it is to have a breast cancer detection plan, and to encourage ourselves and others to remain aware.

One in eight women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime, and it is the second leading cause of death among women. Although it is rare, about 2,600 men will also be diagnosed with breast cancer each year.¹
