The Hills Branch Library will close for renovations beginning June 1, 2026, and will reopen in fall 2026.

The Wellesley Free Library will be closed on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, May 23 – 25, 2026 for Memorial Day Weekend.

Wellesley High School Author: Phil Laak (c. 1991)

       Phil is an internationally known, world record holding professional poker player and poker commentator.  He won the World Poker Tour title and the World Series of Poker bracelet.  He has written extensively about his life and poker; notably for ten years he wrote a monthly column titled “Being Phil Laak,” for Bluff Magazine.
