Timothy Dowling

Wellesley High School Author: Timothy Dowling (1992)

Tim’s dramatic talent entertained countless WHS audiences in both musicals and plays, so it is no surprise that he became a screenwriter and an actor. Immediately after college, he co-wrote the screenplay for George Lucas In Love, a spoof of Star Wars. He has written 8 screenplays from Pixels to Just Go With It starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler. He was listed as one of the top ten young writers in Hollywood by Variety Magazine.

Tim was the MC for the Turn Out the Lights variety show and has always been generous in his visits to WHS to speak with students about their writing careers.
