Erica Noonan

Wellesley High School Author: Erica Noonan (c. 1980)

          In her 11 years at The Boston Globe, Erica Noonan was the first reporter hired to establish a regional section, “Globe West” (covering 51 suburbs west of Boston, including Wellesley).  As Bureau Chief, she was responsible for developing, researching, writing, and editing the section’s news, feature stories, and long-term project.  She also created the Globe’s “Matters of Faith” series, served as the paper’s Sunday night metro news entire, and developed the paper’s coverage of parenting issues in a project called “Moms are Talking About.”  She is featured in this video interview.
