August Exhibit: Arnold Sheinis

Posted on August 22, 2015

About the Exhibit

This exhibit is a celebration of 70 years of the study and practice of drawing and painting.  Arnold received a classical art education.  He majored in art in college, then at the Cooper Union Institute, the Art Students League in NYC, and the Boston Museum of Fine Art.   Arnold’s approach is eclectic, painting in many different styles, matching the style to the subject and his feeling about it.  The pictures range from realism to impressionism, expressionism, and abstraction. They date from 1955 to today. He paints mostly in oil.
