Seascapes and Landscapes
A fixture in artistic communities west of Boston, Teresa Higgins is one of New England's finest portrait artists. A master of her craft, Ms. Higgins offers classes in realistic drawing and painting to students of all ages at T. Higgins Studio in Natick. When not working on portraiture commissions, Teresa Higgins devotes herself to large seascape painting, capturing the beauty of wide expanses of sea and sky in lustrous light. This exhibit showcases paintings that offer us the serenity of the unencumbered view. Her skies and seascapes evoke a nostalgic New England, and remind us that even in the Information Age, time can stand still.
