Summer Reading Challenge

This summer, Read Beyond the Beaten Path! The Wellesley Free Library is offering summer reading challenges for readers of all ages: 0-10, 10-15, teens, and adults. Register to participate at wellesleyfreelibrary.beanstack.org.

For children ages 0 – 15, log the minutes you read either on-line or on paper. Finish at least 20 activities listed under the Activity Badge tab on Beanstack, or in our paper ‘zine, and win a prize!

Visit the Main Library each week to complete a scavenger hunt for a chance to win a Dav Pilkey Dragon plush toy. Stop by the Main Library, Hills Branch and Fells Branch for weekly candy estimate raffles.

There is so much to do at the library this summer: Learn Letterboxing, listen to music, be amazed by a magic show, listen to thrilling stories and hunt for bugs. Check out the Children’s Calendar for more details and other fun summer events! At the end of August, we will recognize everyone who participates by inviting them to an ice cream party.

Teens and adults can log books and activities completed throughout the summer to earn raffle tickets for prizes from local Wellesley businesses.
